The 2021 Gourd and Fine Art Festival will be held in the middle of the Shenandoah Valley in Amador County, CA. It will be among several well-known wineries and held at the gorgeous Amador Flower Farm

Bring your gourds!
This year will feature a gourd display area, open to the public. Anyone who wants to display their gourd artwork is welcome to, and the display will be changed daily.
There will be a simple sign-up procedure to show your artwork. Please be prepared to bring your artwork before 10:00 and pick it back up at 4:00 each day. No official judging will take place, but there will be a people’s choice award given each day.
Featured Instructor
Jelena Clay
Jelena clay is a mixed media artist that resides in Hilo on the Island of Hawaii. She is the daughter of Serbian emigrants and was raised in Saratoga, California. At 20 years old she relocated to the islands and has called it home for over 35 years. Jelena works primarily with gourds and creates gourd art, fiber art, mixed media sculptures and paintings relating to the Island flora and culture. She has taught Gourd and Fiber art throughout the US and Hawaii for over 20 years.
Jelena has worked with the hula arts community for many years. The Hawaiian culture is deeply rooted in nature which is her primary influence, and her work is a culmination of her island experiences and knowledge.

Note: there are several restaurants relatively close to the venue, but none close enough to get lunch during a class lunch break.
