Description
Notice: sales have been suspended, as the 2020 Gourd Art Festival has been postponed until 2021 due to COVID orders.
A large assortment of prepared raw gourds will allow each student to create an original mushroom, 4 curious mice and several Monarch butterflies. There will be instruction on carving, cutting, joining pieces and application of color, sealer and embellishments. How to make your own alcohol inks and their use, incorporating acrylics, shading and creating cut outs are also covered. All supplies are included but student must bring carver, burrs and mask. Bring your whimsical side along for a fun day with no rules and lots of imagination
